A Little About Me
What do you think of when you hear the word, “RETIRED”? Some of us are living that word right now and others are anxiously awaiting that day.
When I retired after a crazy busy career, my life slowed down. After cleaning and organizing all the areas I had put on hold, I kept asking myself, “what’s next”?
I had developed some health conditions and allergies and so I started researching ways to get better and live a more natural way of life. That is when I discovered Young Living Essential Oils and became a Brand Partner. I started feeling better as I tried different oils and began making do-it-yourself products to ditch & switch the toxic products I had purchased commercially. Before long, I started creating my own products as I needed them. I had found my Passion!
I shared a lot of products with my family and friends but wanted to do more. I prayed about it and one morning I woke up with the name Youcando-it-yourself on my mind. It was an answer to my prayers, because when I checked to see if the name was available to use, it was! That is how this blog came to be. After a lot of writing and hard work, my blog was born in December 2020.
I now have over 2,500 followers and friends with more everyday! God is still blessing me with new friends to share with and I am so grateful. I guess a lot of them love the yummy food recipes and do-it-yourself products just like me and that makes me so happy!
I put together some DIY kits from recipes on the blog to make it easy to get started creating. They are available on the Shop Page. Recently I have added Ready-To-Use products as well, and am creating more everyday! These are products I use myself and for most they will work well.
